Booklist reviews our Bringing Up Father collection: “One of the most popular and longest-running comic strips. Soon, McManus  would develop into one of the funnies’ leading stylists.” And Publishers Weekly this week says of Geary’s new Famous Players: “His quirky b&w ink drawings are full of expression, recalling the melodrama of silent films.”
